Creating an Environment for Health
Our environment plays a crucial role in shaping our health habits. We often emphasize the importance of creating an environment that makes it easy to eat well, move often, sleep lots, think deeply, and create real connections. This involves intentionally structuring our surroundings to support healthy choices.
By setting up our environment for success, we reduce the need for constant willpower and make healthy choices more automatic. This could involve keeping nutritious foods readily available, setting up a dedicated workout space, or creating a relaxing bedtime routine.
Reflect on your current environment. What are three specific changes you could make to your home, workplace, or daily routine that would make it easier for you to maintain healthy habits?
